Production Manager

**Working Hours**: Full time, 9am - 5pm, 40 hours per week with additional weekend working throughout festival season onsite. Some travel required

**Role Description**

Cuffe & Taylor operates Lytham Festival, The Piece Hall Live, Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Bedford Park Concerts, Cardiff Castle and many other sites. Cuffe & Taylor also Produce and Promoter over 1,500 theatrical shows across the UK and Internationallyeach year and project manage a major London attraction.

For this role you should have exceptional organisational, communication and leadership skills. Having experience in the following roles: production management; project management; event management; production co-ordinator would be an advantage.

Essential
- A management level of production management experience
- Detailed project management / planning experience
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience in budget management
- Experience in artist and production advancing

Desirable
- Procurement Management and experience in negotiation with suppliers
- Large scale events experience
- Rigging experience and qualifications
- IT skills, especially a knowledge of AutoCAD is useful
- Knowledge of live music industry

**What the role includes**
- Production management across outdoor venues, festivals and in-door theatre tours
- Producing venue and festival advance packs
- Producing show schedules, rigging calls and local crew calls
- Producing production specs for outdoor venues, festivals and in-door theatre tours
- To assist the event manager on updating the production budget lines
- Procurement of production and staging suppliers
- Booking and assisting freelance promoter reps
- Producing rigging plots
- Assist Promoters with budgetary questions and production logistics prior to on sales.
- Implementation of artist riders
- Management of event personnel including freelance production managers, stage managers and promoter reps
- The effective execution and delivery of all Promoter/Artist requirements in accordance with calculated budgets.
- Ad hoc tasks as required
