**What you'll be doing;**
- Operation of wheeled loading shovel, telescopic handler, forklift trucks and overhead travelling cranes
- Routine checks and maintenance of energy recovery facility and clinical waste transfer station equipment
- Loading of wastes and residues (bottom ash, ferrous metal & APC residues)
- Supporting plant operation by assisting plant operators with checking and cleaning
- Operating waste bunker cranes as and when required
- Receiving waste deliveries in the tipping hall and clinical waste transfer station, and performing pre-acceptance and quality checks
- Transfer station and weighbridge operation duties including but not limited to weighing vehicles in and out, scanning and processing of bins using computerised management systems
- Offloading consumables
- Carry out bag house filter operative duties, ensuring lines are kept clear of blockages

**What we're looking for;**
- Certified to operate Mobile Plant
- Minimum IOSH one day course completed is essential
- Basic knowledge of power plant operations is desirable
- Knowledge and high regard for Health & Safety
- Must be PC literate, ability to learn how to use software systems

Our site is a 24/7 operation. Although this role is based for working day shifts, a degree of flexibility is required in case of occasions where there is a business requirement to provide short notice cover
