Catering Coordinator

We are looking to recruit a Catering Coordinator to advise/plan,set up and manage our mobile catering unit providing food and beverages to staff members at our site in Nursteed Rd, Devizes.

**Hours**: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm

**Day to day duties will include**:

- To plan a menu creating delicious meals and snacks for breakfast, lunches and in-house sandwich lunches (for meetings)
- Stocking of larders on a daily/weekly basis
- Preparing the service area and equipment
- Daily food preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages
- Interacting with customers
- Handling cash and operating the cash register
- Washing dishes, cutlery, serving utensils, containers etc and all other catering equipment
- Cleaning catering areas and storing food to regulated standards
- Undertaking any other duties that may be required for the effective operation of the mobile catering unit

**The ideal applicant**:
We are looking for an individual who has:

- Excellent organisational skills and a positive can-do attitude
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work under pressure, use own initiative and the ability to meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of food handling and hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations
- Food Hygiene certificate desirable
- Experience in the catering industry is beneficial, but not essential
