**Retail Assistant**

Nestled in the green hills of the South Downs you will find The Hungry Guest artisan food shop located in the charming market town of Petworth.

We are recruiting for Retail assistants to work alongside our fantastic management team, to assist successful smooth running of the store and its operations.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- To understand our produce and engage our customers, making recommendations. for shoppers on each visit.
- To create a warm and friendly environment and ensure company service levels are maintained.
- To ensure the shop floor is fully replenished and visually merchandised to a high standard.
- To greet Customers in a friendly and welcoming manner as they enter the shop, and to assist whilst they browse.
- To provide customers with an experience that will ensure they return.
- Understand who the customers are, including their expectations and needs.
- Promote shop merchandise and company branded products, prioritising The Hungry Guest brand in all areas.
- Arrive for work on time, with the correct clean uniform.
- Always display a professional and positive attitude

No experience is needed as full training will be given however a passion for extraordinary customer service and a can-do attitude is essential.

Employment: Permanent roles available, full-time and part-time hours available.

Hours: Hours will be variable based on a weekly Rota, including weekends
