Positive Steps Care & Support ltd are looking for passionate and experienced support workers to join our fantastic organisation.

This role would require individuals to be enthusiastic and willing to provide support to individuals to enable them to access their communities, in addition to this to provide the assistance they may need with all aspects of their daily needs. Due to the summer holidays this individual will require support 7:30 - 13:30 to provide fun filled day's out in the community attending attractions out in the local community and 16:00 - 20:00 three days a week during term time. Due to the nature of Positive Steps Care & Support every day is different and we aim to provide support to enable staff to safely carry out their work.
- **To enable support, responsibilities will include**:_
- Supporting the Client with everyday duties, this could include personal care, meal preparation and light cleaning duties.
- Supporting the Client with any access needs, such as day trips with service users/ helping them to access the community.
- Working in accordance with the expectations and policies of Positive Steps and the expectations of the client and companies we support.
- **Requirements for the position**:_
- A person who is positive, enthusiastic, compassionate and a friendly individual to help support our service users, you need to be prepared to take on duties required by the service users.
- A minimum of 6 months experience within health and social care, ideally with knowledge and experience of Autism. However, transferable skills and personal experience will be considered.
- A full clean driving licence will be preferred. However, not essential.

- A comprehensive training package, including mandatory training packages; role specific training; inclusion on QCF level 2 (dependent on your current qualifications); Ongoing training and supervisions will be provided.
- You will have a dedicated Care Manager and access to a 24 hour On-call service. There are friendly, positive staff working in head office who are always happy to assist.

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
