**About us**

Berkshire Archaeology provides archaeological services to Reading, Bracknell Forest, Slough, Wokingham and Windsor & Maidenhead councils, including planning policy advice, development management casework, Historic Environment Record (HER) services and outreach to the public. We are looking for an experienced archaeologist, with an interest in conserving and managing archaeology in the planning system, to join our small team on a part-time basis.

**About you**

You will have experience of professional archaeology in Britain, including:

- Experience of heritage resource management and working with HERs or other data resources
- A good knowledge of British archaeology and historic landscapes, planning policy and procedures, and archaeological fieldwork techniques
- Ability to multi-task and manage your own time, but also to work with others, and strong inter-personal skills
- Current full driving licence
