**Grounds Maintenance Apprentice - Level 2 - 2 years**

**40 Hours per week**

West Northamptonshire Norse partner with a number of local public and private sector clients to provide a comprehensive range of services including Waste & Refuse collection, Street Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance.

**The role**

We are currently looking to recruit Grounds Maintenance Apprentice into our Daventry based team, the duration of this apprenticeship will be for 2 years, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will be working in a service driven team and will be responsible for maintaining and improving the standard of grassed areas, highway verges, municipal parks and open spaces across Daventry.

During your apprenticeship you will learn the following;
- Using and maintaining hand tools and light plant.
- Planting and maintaining trees, shrubs and hedges.
- Cultivation of sites for planting and sowing.

**Our ideal Apprentice;**
- Experience working in a ground maintenance or similar environment
- Full UK Driving Licence, (Desirable)
- Good communication skills, comfortable dealing with members of the public
- Ability to work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo training and development with process and machinery
