**Painter and Decorator - Aftercare Department**

**The Company**

Green Retreats manufacture and supply a range of high specification contemporary Garden Buildings with a wide range of uses, from home offices to art studios and a range of commercial projects (i.e Schools and Charities). The company was formed in 2006 and has since installed over 13,000 buildings nationwide.

**The Role**

Due to the continued expansion of Green Retreats, we are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our Aftercare Department. Once our customers buildings have been installed, our Aftercare Department look after all warranty claims and rectifications.

Key Responsibilities - Provide support to our Aftercare Department in visiting our customers to attend to rectifications to plastered buildings including painting and decorating

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in a customer facing role
- To be able to complete maintenance and refurbishment work, mostly of a decorating nature, although at times work of associated trades will be necessary
- Experienced painter and decorator
- Carry out inspections of GR buildings to determine the extent of internal painting and decoration required
- To complete all appropriate documentation accurately and on time
- Carry out a range of internal painting and redecoration tasks in GR buildings whilst achieving a durable and quality finish
- Strong communication skills
- Experienced painter and decorator
- Tidy and clean approach to working within our customers gardens and garden buildings
- Great attention to detail
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- Willing to travel as our customers are based nationwide
- Ability to work on your own and with other members on site from the Aftercare Team
- Willing to work on a weekend if required (paid at an enhanced rate)

**Benefits**:

- Starting hourly rate £12.50
- Monthly bonus (starting at £100 per month
- Overtime over 40hrs p/w paid x 1.25 basic hourly rate
- Full Time Position - Monday - Friday (40 hrs per week with a half an hour paid lunch break)
