**Job and Person Specification**

**Job Title**: Pipe Fitter

**Overall Job Purpose**: Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our successful team working on a range of sites throughout the UK. The majority of the work will involve pipe fitting, welding andinstallation of various systems according to specifications.

**Responsible to**: Project Manager / Site Manager

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for a number of tasks and responsibilities. The include but are not limited to:

- Undertake all duties associated with that of a Pipe Fitter
- Understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Safe use of welding equipment along with hand / power tools
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, contracts and colleagues
- Use mobile system to photograph and record completed work on site.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with all statutory health and safety requirements
- Organise all materials and equipment associated with a project

**Person Specification**
- Previous experience working as a Pipe Fitter
- Experience using a range of equipment and machinery associated with Pipe Fitting
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing projects
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to location throughout the UK with overnight stays

**Qualifications and Certification**
- Full UK Driving License
- Formal qualification in welding / fabrications are not essential but are advantageous

**Working Hours**:Full Time, Monday to Friday

**Location**:Devon based office (Nationwide coverage)

**Remuneration**:£30,000 to £40,000 per annum
