**Job Description**:
Wood Mackenzie has an exciting opportunity for an IT Specialist in a fast paced, dynamic global business to help drive change and innovation. This is an opportunity for a forward looking individual to work in our Global Service Desk aligned to the IT Services operation.
**Role Purpose**

Wood Mackenzie is looking for an experienced Service Desk Specialist to join our Global team.
If you have 1-3 years’ experience working in a similar IT support role, and you have a strong understanding of Windows based software, Mac OS and cloud infrastructure, get in touch with us today
**What you'll do.**
This is a demanding role. The successful applicant will be required to work independently, manage a high volume of requests and prioritise their workload effectively, often working to tight deadlines.
The Service Desk operates between the hours of 8am and 6pm on business days and the successful applicant will need to demonstrate some flexibility in their working hours to meet this requirement.
**Qualifications**:
**Required**
- Customer service orientation
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Desire and ability for self-guided learning
- Capability to work independently and manage priorities
- Experience working within an ITIL framework
- Experience in a technical support role
- Experience with an Office365 environment
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 10
