**Animal Technician**

We are actively recruiting for an Animal Technician to provide high-quality scientific technical support and animal care within our client’s Biological Services department.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

**Experience and Qualifications**

The successful Animal Technician will have the following experience and qualifications:

- Ability to demonstrate the competencies required to undertake the duties associated with this level of post having acquired the necessary knowledge and skills in a similar role
- Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 5 or 6 (National 5 or 6, Scottish Vocational Qualification level 2 or 3) or equivalent, and experience of personal development in a similar role
- Good understanding of Health and Safety policies
- Experience of working with animals
- Working as part of a team
- Experience with record keeping and data recording using animal software databases

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
