Vision for Education are currently working with a number of SEN schools across Cornwall. We are currently looking for somebody to work long term with the chance of a permanent contract for the right person. The role will be working as a Teaching Assistant in a school with students with

**About the role**:
We are seeking a supportive, nurturing, creative and inspirational Teaching Assistants who can provide an individualised and highly personalised learning. Vision also offer a range of full time, part time and ad hoc supply work across SEND schools and PRU’s, if you are seeking something alternate.

The role is in a specialist setting catering to pupils with a broad range of SEND 'needs' including SLD, PMLD, Learning and Sensory Needs and Neurodiversity. Children are likely to be working at levels below those typically expected for their age and as the Teaching Assistant, you will help support them.

- Healthcare Assistant
- Support Worker

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant you will:

- Have previous experience of working with children or young people; ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years.
- Have a valid DBS on the Update Service

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- Previous experience of supporting vulnerable people

**Key responsibilities**:
As SEND Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

- Work on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Support the class Teacher
- Personal Care
