**Introduction**:
**This is a hybrid role with around 1-2 days per week required onsite and the rest of the work can be done from home.**

**My client is a large defence and engineering consultancy who offer through-life support to the Ministry of Defence and other government clients.**

**They are looking for an Operational Excellence Analyst to deliver improvements by identifying, defining and planning improvement initiatives. Ideally you will be accredited as a Lean Black Belt and have knowledge of the DMAIC framework in engineering.**

**Please note that this is a 35 hour working week.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Drive improvements through identifying, defining, and planning new initiatives
- Manage both simple and complex improvement projects
- Deliver Kaizen projects focused on technical and operational enhancements
- Execute complex projects within a DMAIC lean engineering framework
- Conduct operational excellence assessments and coach for world-class standards

**Skills & experience**:

- Accreditation as a lean Black Belt
- Proficiency in DMAIC framework and lean engineering principles
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to drive organizational change and coach teams
