Dressmaker/seamstress

We are looking for an experienced freelance Dressmaker/Seamstress to join our team based in Glasgow.

Job Details:

- Part time position
- Work from home

**Requirements**:

- **1 year** minimum sewing experience.
- **Must** have your own sewing machine

**Responsibilities**:

- Create custom garments to fit a client’s needs and preferences
- Cut, sew, and alter fabric according to patterns or customer requirements.
- Perform fittings and alterations to achieve the desired look and fit.
- Repair damaged clothing items.
- Maintain records of work and inventory.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a dressmaker or seamstress. (preferred)
- Strong sewing skills and knowledge of various sewing techniques. (required)
- Attention to detail and precision in sewing.
- Good at creative problem-solving and adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Desire to study historical and contemporary techniques and methods.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
