**The role**:
This is an opportunity for a customer focused individual to join and lead the Student Services team in our fast-growing Liverpool school. You will be experienced in working with international students and all the challenges that brings - their welfare, safeguarding,accommodation, social activities and all the associated services.

You will lead the Student Services team to ensure our students are safe, happy and have a life changing experience. The **Student Services Manager** has core responsibility for:

- The safety and welfare of students attending Bayswater College
- Line management of our Student Services and Accommodation teams
- Ensuring excellent customer service is provided to our students consistently
- Liaising with the Academic and Sales teams to give our students a time of their life experience
- Following the agreed internal processes and procedures and resolving issues quickly and efficiently
- Curating a vibrant, imaginative and fulfilling series of events for our students and partners including lectures, social events, company visits etc.
- Conducting Credit control
- Internal quality assurance in reference to the British Council accreditation scheme

**Knowledge, qualifications and experience**
- An undergraduate degree and welfare qualification (desirable)
- Experience of working with groups of international students taking part in education programmes
- Experience of safe-guarding of children and best practices
- Experience of working to commercial targets
- Experience of working in student services & admissions (desirable)

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Competence in leadership and administration
- Highly collaborative and able to work across teams to deliver results
- Numerate and IT literate with competence in Excel
- Highly organised and able to manage a varied and demanding workload
- A keen eye for detail and a methodical and diligent approach to ensure quality and accurate results to any given task
