**Responsibilities**:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the privilege of:

- Providing one-on-one support and assistance to children with ASD, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Implementing personalized learning plans and strategies tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Assisting with academic tasks, such as reading, writing, and numeracy, while adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Supporting students in developing their social and communication skills, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective coordination and delivery of support.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, providing valuable feedback to the teaching team and participating in individualized education planning.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Relevant Experience: Essential experience working with children or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Excellent Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to engage and motivate children effectively.
- Empathy and Passion: Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
