About the role:

- **We are looking for an experienced Creative Artworker / Mac Operator to join us.**_

We have built strong ongoing relationships with a wide range of local, national and international clients.

You will be an insightful professional Creative Artworker/Mac Operator who can skilfully interpret creative concepts and designs to develop these to professional designs, capable of producing press-ready artwork to a high standard and generating plate-ready files for production.

You will have previous experience in design, artwork creation and manipulation to the highest standards.

Proficient working with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft (Including Word and Excel), and be open to working with new technology and processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Utilise Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and CTP software to create artwork and output to CTP.
- Industry experience in design, artworking & pre-press
- Work closely with customer service and clients to understand their requirements.
- Ensure that artwork is print-ready, meeting industry standards and customer expectations.
- Retouch images to enhance visual appeal and align with brand guidelines.
- Independently manage projects and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to work at speed without losing quality output.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in the printing industry, with a focus on artwork and design.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop is a must.
- Experience in pre-press software desirable (XMF, Prinergy, Prinect, Equios, Apogee)
- Some knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Including Word and Excel)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills, including a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst delivering high-quality work.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge in the management and production of design for print, digital and other related media.

**Hours of work**:
Monday to Friday - Ideally 37.5 hours a week - minimum ~ 30 hours per week

Working between 08:00 and 17:00 with Core Hours of 10:00 - 16:00)

**Salary**: £ OPEN - Depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 30 - 37.5 per week
