The business have a large number of transactions, expenses and treasury items that are put through the team. The team manager has an excellent background in developing the team and providing support to members that need additional skills. The businessneed an experienced purchase ledger clerk to join this team and need someone that has come from a fast paced busy and corporate environment.

Job Spec:

- Accurately scan and register invoices on day of receipt
- Prepare payment runs in line with agreed payment terms, submit for signature
- Update cashbooks CIS deductions and returns
- Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to resolve queries
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Ensure that all accounts payable processes are completed in accordance with the monthly accounting timetable
- Create and maintain supplier master records in system
- Support internal staff in using the system
- Other duties as the Accounting Team Manager may reasonably require from time to time

Person Spec:

- Experienced purchase ledger clerk ideally 3 years plus
- Ideally studying toward AAT
- Good Excel skills
