NLB Solutions are working with a large business to find a new purchase ledger clerk to join a large and expanding team. The business have a large number of transactions, expenses and treasury items that are put through the team. With an excellent productand industry leading reputation, this company offer a great team, office and business environment to be part of. They also have a policy of trying to promote talent from the internal pool before looking externally.
The team manager has an excellent background in developing the team and providing support to members that need additional skills. There is a culture across the business to help achieve long terms goals as a business and to help staff do the same. The businessneed an experienced purchase ledger clerk to join this team and need someone that has come from a fast paced busy and corporate environment.
Job Spec:
- Accurately scan and register invoices on day of receipt
- Prepare payment runs in line with agreed payment terms, submit for signature
- Update cashbooks CIS deductions and returns
- Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to resolve queries
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Ensure that all accounts payable processes are completed in accordance with the monthly accounting timetable
- Create and maintain supplier master records in system
- Support internal staff in using the system
- Other duties as the Accounting Team Manager may reasonably require from time to time
Person Spec:
- Experienced purchase ledger clerk ideally 3 years plus
- Ideally studying toward AAT
- Good Excel skills
