**Job Overview**:

- **Job Title: NATIONAL MAINTENANCE PLANNER**

**Purpose**:To ensure the day-to-day running of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Maximo, is carried out so that all maintenance activities including soft and hard services are completed to schedule in the most cost-effective manner. The individual is expected to be able to manage his/her own workload and produce daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance schedules in line with each site and individual building asset strategy. The role reports to the BAE Mitie Head of Asset Care.

**Main Duties**
- Maintenance scheduling and service planning for all work streams across the account portfolio to SFG20 standards, Mitie Standards or MI/Other
- Technical support and close working relationship with operations and projects, providing priced asset change request documents.
- To optimise maintenance performance using Maximo as the central control hub including publishing reports on asset and service performance.
- Loading of asset data, manufacturer details onto Maximo database and in liaison with both the Head of Asset Care and Maintenance Service Managers to ensure work is schedule correctly, including subcontractor activities for all service streams.
- Timely preparation of high-quality job plans and elimination of avoidable delays through effective planning and resource allocation.
- Liaison with the HOAC (Head of Asset Care) to determine the level of detail required within job plans, that these are consistently applied across all business units within BAE
- The provision of reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis to the site FM, Maintenance Services Catering Manager and Soft Services Manager.
- To support the HOAC in the production of building asset management plans, life cycle cost projections and annual asset condition reports.
- To monitor outstanding maintenance routines, underperforming assets, and where necessary highlight problem areas to the Maintenance Services Managers.
- To Control and maintain the equipment numbering system and the issue of Equipment/Asset Labels. Record the movement of plant as and when change occurs.
- Upload new assets into the system and record assets removed from either the scope or estate (part of the CRF process and asset hand over workflow.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date asset register of all assets across the account portfolio.
- Ensuring that complete records are kept for GMP/GLP COSHH and statutory plant and equipment, which require a full-service history.
- Completion of any other duties or projects, which are commensurate with a Regional Maintenance Planner position.
- All records to be updated. Support the HOAC in keeping up to date O&M's and a portfolio wide technical library; ensuring information is available.
- Foster good relationships with Site Operations and with our business colleagues.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 3 years experience within a similar role working with a comprehensive understanding and operational delivery for managing the full spectrum of assets which encompasses the office environment, manufacturing heating, cooling, fire protection, lighting, HV and LV substations.
- Strong technical background in one or more disciplines and a strong understanding of SFG20, Routines, technical systems.
- First-class organisational skills are required for this role and the role is ideally suited to a persons with an extensive FM and / or engineering background.
- Customer service and project management expertise required, PRINCE 2 Project Management qualification an advantage.
- Previous experience in a TFM environment would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of ERP, CAFM or CMMS systems is a prerequisite.
- Proven track record in work planning / scheduling and asset management.
