**Senior Underwriter**

This company deals with insurance, reinsurance and investments all around the world. They have numerous offices in the UK, with nearly 2000 employees and are looking to expand their business in commercial lines, in their Leeds office. You will be workingin a specific renewals team, consisting of about 10 individuals but also interacting closely with various other teams.

This role involves interacting closely with a panel of brokers to maintain good communication and build relationships over a range of specialty classes, to ensure profitability. You will need to support more junior members of the team with any risks.

- Underwriting renewals for a specialty class with a mixture of commercial and financial insurance
- Managing and maintaining relationships with a panel of brokers
- Dealing with large complex cases within UK territories
- Supporting underwriters and assistant underwriters in the team

**Requirements**:

- Strong underwriting experience
- Experience in commercial or financial lines
- CII qualified
