Relationships mean everything to us, and having recently won the contract to support Airbus logistics we are looking for an exceptional Commercial and Customer Engagement Manager to join our team to develop and continually strengthen this relationship.We’re a fast paced business, always delivering amazing quality and results for our customers, and this contract is no exception.
**As a Commercial and Customer Engagement Manager at Unipart you will:**:

- Develop and maintain an Airbus account plan
- Monitor and manage the pricing review and update processes
- Monitor the operational resourcing and financial performance of the contract and prepare reports as required
- Ensure preparation and maintenance of the required reversibility plan
- Maintain a knowledge of best practice developments and ensure opportunities for Airbus are identified and exploited
- Ensure a strong continuous improvement (CI) pipeline is developed and maintained
- Monitor and communicate CI delivery against contractual objectives
- Identify develop and drive delivery of opportunities to increase scope and scale of services to Airbus and so drive an ongoing growth agenda

**Commercial and Customer Engagement Manager Requirements:**
Essential:

- Experience of large account and / or commercial management of large customers in a supply chain or manufacturing environment
- Experienced in establishing and developing strong professional relationships with senior or board level customer representatives
- Strong appreciation of production logistics with experience of material flow design and layout optimisation
- Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in identifying growth opportunities and converting them into new business
- Ability to deliver clear communications and foster excellent working relationships with peers and senior management teams
- Experience of leading, inspiring and developing teams
- Great communication skills - spoken, written, and presenting
- Exceptional organisation skills and strong work ethic
- Experienced in operational financial control and KPI management
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel (ability to manipulate and interpret data), PowerPoint and Word
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, related professional qualifications

Desirable:

- Experience of working in aerospace
- Flexible to work across UL locations in the UK and overseas territories
- Experience in Supply chain or production operations

**Location**: Broughton, Chester
**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full Time, 40 per week
**Salary**: £65,000 per annum plus car / car allowance
