**JUNIOR /ASSISTANT IMPORT MERCHANDISER**

**UP TO £23K**

Do you want to be part of a dynamic & fast growing business? Our client is looking for someone who is hardworking and motivated to join their merchandising team They need an assistant merchandiser on a full time permanent basis. The person will have responsibility for assisting the account merchandiser and the designers for their largest high street retail account.

The successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic, organised and be able to work at a fast pace. You must be able to work well in a team but also have good initiative to work alone, be able to manage tasks effectively, have good attention to detail.

**Role requirements**

Minimum of 1 years merchandising experience
Good organisational skills, able to prioritise
Be able to work well to deadlines
Multi task
Experience communicating with factories and customers
Self-motivated
Responsibilities/tasks

**Duties**

Liaise with various Far East factories chasing design & seal samples and maintaining sample trackers.
Ordering labels and maintaining the label stock sheets
Check and measure swatches and samples upon receipt
Create master pre-production internal workbooks PPRA.
Maintain the Tech document keeping up to date and chase approvals
Maintain the tracker of samples and components dispatched weekly to each factory
Ensure production plans are received from the factories every 2 weeks
Ensure the weekly production plans are updated and sent to the customer every 2 weeks
Provide shipment paperwork and AQL’s from factory prior to ex-factory dates to customer
There is opportunity for growth and progression to fully manage smaller accounts once settled into the role

**Benefits**:
25 days holiday (increasing to 30 based on length of service)
Finish at 1.00pm on Friday
Monday - Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm
Friday - 8.00am - 1.00pm
Company pension
Work for a Trust which is for the benefit of all staff (including beneficiary payments dependant on company performance)
Bonus (dependant on company performance)
