Early Years Room Leader

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Room Leader to work with little ones in a newly established setting in Greater Manchester.

Being Early Years qualified and having previous Room Leader experience, you will be able to step into place perfectly with a team who are passionate about childcare.

As a Room Leader, in addition to a practitioner role your responsibilities will include:

- Planning, preparing and supporting the smooth running of a creative and playful curriculum with colleagues in line with The Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Conduct baseline assessments and age appropriate assessments based on children’s individual development.
- Support children’s settling in visits, inductions, and room transitions.
- Communicate with parents/carers about their child’s development and keep them involved.
- Support and mentor team members with their Continual Professional Development.

**You must**:

- Be childcare Level 3 qualified (Essential)
- Have good knowledge of EYFS (Essential)
- Have good knowledge of safeguarding (Essential)

**Ideally you will have**:

- Minimum 1 year room leader experience (Desirable)
- Minimum 2 years' leadership experience (Desirable)

**Salary**: £11.50 - £11.75 per hour
