Workshop Foreman

**_Recra are working in partnership_** with a reputable and well-established fleet management company who are keen to add a Workshop Foreman to their team in Burton. The position is for an experienced HGV - Shift Foreman responsible for organizing and conducting a working shift, maintaining commercial vehicles and trailers to MOT standard supporting the management team.
- Organize team workloads and communicate with Shift.
- Communication with other Foremen, Workshop Controller/ Service Dept and Depot manager.
- Health and Safety of shift members.
- Ensure all paperwork and general workshop duties are completed.
- All work is carried out on a time scale acceptable to the customer.
- Control of Idle time and productivity.

**Skills/experience**:

- Good leadership qualities.
- High level of technical knowledge and ability in mechanical repair.
- Able to help with technical problems.
- A calm approach to organizing a busy workshop.

**Ideal skills**:

- Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician) or proven experience repairing & maintaining vehicles.
- Current driving license.
- IRTEC inspection license.
- Previous Foreman role/ experience.
- HGV Class 1 would be an advantage.

Monday - Friday / Alternate Shifts.

6 am till 2 pm or 2 pm till 10 pm - with half hour unpaid lunch break.
