**Primary School Teaching Assistant**

A Primary School that we work with in Cinderford are looking for a full time TA to join them. This would be for a 1:1 SEN role, where you would be working with a child in their mixed year 5 and 6 class who needs some additional support in order to keep them focussed on their work. This will be needed immediately, and will be Monday-Friday, with the hours being 8:30-3:30.

The school is a lovely school that is looking for someone who is a team player and can come into the role with little guidance. Therefore, it would be really beneficial to have worked with SEN before and to have worked as a TA, although this is less essential. You must be patient and kind, with a good ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for the student.

What will you do on a daily basis?
- Build positive working relationships with the child, their parents and colleagues
- Adapt and respond to the needs of the children and within the recommendations of their EHCP
- Show good organisational skills
- Use your initiative in order to meet the needs of the children
- Portray an understanding of how to support children individually and in groups
