Software Tester

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will collaborate with or development teams and customers to identify and resolve any issues or bugs, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality. Experience in automated test tools would be an advantage. Customer facing experience is a must.

**Duties**:

- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Collaborate with developers and customers to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage
- Perform manual testing as well as automated testing using test automation tools
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously resolved defects do not resurface
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in software testing and quality assurance

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in software testing or quality assurance roles
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test automation tools
- Proficient in writing SQL queries for database testing
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Team Foundation Server.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services testing
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
