Buttercups Day Nursery is a well-established, family-run Children’s Day Nursery located in a beautiful rural setting on the outskirts of Mold. It has been very successful since its opening in 2003 and, due to demand, we have recently increased the number of places at the Nursery.
We are now looking for a passionate and qualified nursery professional with experience in working with babies and very young children (3 to 24 months old) to lead our expanded Under 2s team.
We aim to recruit the best in the business. Therefore, you need to be highly motivated and passionate about delivering exceptional childcare and a wonderful learning experience.
We invest wholeheartedly in our staff, supporting and encouraging them to learn and grow by providing them with up-to-date training and support.
**Key Role and Responsibilities**:
- Lead and motivate a team of 8 practitioners.
- Develop good relationships with parents and carers, providing reassurance as needed when their children start at Buttercups.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to report on the growth and progress of the babies and children.
- Plan and develop a stimulating range of activities which keep our babies engaged throughout the day.
- Enable babies to become more independent and to meet their key development milestones.
- Help prepare babies for the transition into the Toddler Room (24 to 36 months)
- Protect and promote the health and well-being of all children.
- Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
- Promote positive relationships across the Nursery.
- Be part of the Leadership team at the Nursery, working with management and the room leaders.
**Key** **Requirements**:
- Hold a full and relevant early years and childcare qualification of Level 3 or above.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in a Baby Room of a nursery or early years setting.
- Good knowledge of the Curriculum of Wales
- Enhanced DBS check.
