Our client is a precision engineering company providing high quality vacuum products and services for customers in science and semiconductor industry. They are currently looking for a
**Trainee Mechanical Inspector **to join their team in Hailsham.

At their new, purpose-built manufacturing facility, our client entered an exciting new phase in their development as they embark on an ambitious expansion programme.

**As their Trainee Mechanical Inspector, you will be taught how to**:

- Measure and visually inspect components and assemblies to drawing.
- Test and validate components and assemblies using a variety of test equipment.
- Visually inspect welds.
- Ensure any defects and features not to specification are identified and recorded.
- Visually inspect finished goods to ensure compliance to specification.

**This is a trainee position and therefore we do not expect any experience in Inspection however you must have**:

- Experience working in a busy machine shop, assembly or manufacturing.
- A qualification, or interest in achieving one, in mechanical engineering.
