We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Housing Officers to join our team, supporting homeless people in St Helens.

About the Role:

- As a Housing Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting homeless individuals and families, helping them access safe and secure accommodation.
- You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop support plans, and help them navigate the housing system.
- You will also provide emotional and practical support, empowering individuals to move towards greater independence.

What you will need:

- Experience working with vulnerable people, ideally within a homelessness setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
- A strong understanding of homelessness issues and relevant legislation.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach.
