**The Role**

Reporting to the Recoveries Team Leader, the Senior Collector is responsible for an assigned portfolio of accounts, maintaining regular contact with customers and partners to maximise resolutions. You’ll be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships, helping you to work towards monthly personal and team collection targets as well as annual objectives.

You will also:

- Resolve account level queries and disputes, maintaining high quality high responses.
- Ensure the collections path is followed, assisting customers, partners and colleagues in the resolution of issues
- Where necessary escalating accounts for review
- Lodge paperwork correctly for insolvent accounts, liaising with insolvency practitioners and ensuring dividends are maximised.

To be considered as a Senior Collector, you will need:

- Experience within a finance or insurance environment
- The ability to work in a high volume, targeted environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop relationships
- Experience of identifying and dealing with vulnerable customers
- The ability to negotiate
- Mathematical skills and an eye for detail

**The recruitment process**

Stage 2: If successful, we’ll arrange a **Telephone Evaluation** call to get to know you and your motivations, tell you more about the role and Premium Credit Limited, and answer any questions you may have. During the call we’ll also ask you to provide work-related examples in response to 2 customer service based questions. This is so that we can assess how you are likely to respond to certain role related situations.

Stage 3: If both you and we agree to continue, we’ll set up a **video interview** with the Hiring Manager and a representative from HR. Whatever the outcome, we will let you know.

Stage 4: Depending on the role, a successful interview will either result in an **offer or a second video interview** with a stakeholder from the team.

Stage 5: If you are successful following the video interview process, then we will extend a **verbal offer**, which will be followed up in writing if you verbally accept.
