**Job Summary**: Join our team at The Kings Head, where we pride ourselves on preparing food from scratch with fresh local ingredients. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting our chefs and ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the preparation and production of food items, ensuring all ingredients are ready for chefs.
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing utensils, dishes, and ensuring work surfaces are sanitized.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Support the kitchen team with receiving deliveries and organizing supplies.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Work closely with the management team to uphold a high standard of fresh food offering.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a kitchen support role is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Resilience and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: Up to £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
