Emi-mec Setter and Operator

Job description

Rapid Industrial Fasteners, a leading distributor and manufacturer of fasteners are looking for an experienced Emi-Mec setter and operator.

Experience of manufacturing fasteners is essential.

**Duties**:

- Set & Operate EMI MEC machinery
- Carrying out first off inspections using hand held gauges, micrometres and Vernier's
- Working with a variety of materials including exotic materials
- Working to tight tolerances
- Producing small and high volume batch work
- Be able to plan work to meet deadlines
- Read drawings
- Previous experience working within a fast paced manufacturing facility (Essential) in Fasteners
- Experience of setting & operating EMI MEC’s (Essential)
- Be able to plan work to meet deadlines
- Experience in operating manual machines an advantage.
- Experience of using Poly Turn machines an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00 per year
