If you like everything outdoors but like to work indoors then we have the role for you We are on the hunt for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Middlewich site for our customer, JD Go Outdoors. There really is no catch to this role, its simply one where you can put your trainers on and cycle your way to success

You’ll join us on a full time, permanent basis working a 4 on, 4 off shift rotation working from 06:00-18:00 or 18:00-06:00.

**What you’ll do on a typical day as a Warehouse First Line Manager**:

- Carry out the day to day management of a team of warehouse colleagues, managing performance, setting KPI’s and driving continuous improvement
- Ensure effective communication is delivered to colleagues and management teams on a daily basis
- Focus on colleague development by implementing a consistent appraisal process
- Take responsibilities for Health and Safety and lead by example in order to ensure consistent compliance

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- As a Warehouse First Line Manager you'll need experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast paced warehouse environment, ideally with temperature-controlled exposure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation
- Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
