**Senior Building Surveyor**

A leading construction consultancy who specialises in the commercial sector are currently seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Projects can vary from large commercial infrastructure buildings, apartment buildings and multiple million-pound projects.

As an Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in overseeing commercial building surveying projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for conducting detailed building surveys, inspections, and assessments, providing expert advice to clients, and managing project teams.

Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering long-term client relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough building surveys and inspections, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Provide expert advice on building defects, maintenance, and repair strategies to clients.
- Generally, represent the company in a professionally competent and positive manner, ensuring service quality and integrity is maintained to the highest possible standards.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to develop innovative solutions to complex building challenges.
- Mentor and support junior surveyors, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a related field (RICS accredited).
- MRICS or FRICS qualification highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in building surveying.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering commercial building surveying projects.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction technology, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
