- **Monday - Thursday 7.30am-5.15pm**:

- **Temporary position - 1 month - possible extension**

**Job duties**:

- Shot blast metal components in preparation for painting.
- **Equipment Setup**: Prepare the shot blasting machine for operation, which includes inspecting and loading the appropriate abrasive media into the machine's blasting chamber.
- **Workpiece Inspection**: Examine the workpieces to be treated, ensuring they meet quality standards and are suitable for the shot blasting process.
- **Surface Cleaning**: Use the shot blasting machine to clean the surface of the workpiece by propelling high-speed abrasive particles at the material's surface. This process removes contaminants, rust, paint, scale, and other unwanted materials.
- **Surface Preparation**: Prepare surfaces for subsequent processes such as painting, coating, welding, or bonding by creating a roughened texture that improves adhesion.
- **Controlling Shot Blasting Parameters**: Adjust and control the pressure, flow rate, and speed of the abrasive media to achieve the desired surface treatment results while avoiding damage to the workpiece.
- **Painting - **Painting of metal components

**You will have**:

- Previous painting/ shot blasting experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Available for an immediate start

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 1 month

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nutts Corner: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Industrial Painting: 1 year (required)
- Shot blasting: 1 year (required)
