Food and Beverage Assistant

We are currently recruiting for **Food & Beverage team members (on a casual basis)** to join us at our 50 bedroom **Hartsfield Manor**, based in Betchworth, Surrey.

Aim: To support/assist our Food & Beverage Operations Team in delivering an excellent customer experience and guest satisfaction.
- Meeting and greeting customers as they arrive into the bar and restaurant.

Serving guests during weddings and functions
- Serving customers in restaurant or function rooms. You are responsible for taking their orders, serving drinks, looking after the customers, tending to their requirements.
- If an order is taken, ensure the customer has the correct cutlery, a napkin, salt and pepper ready on the table.(If time ask if any sauces are required)
- To ensure food served from the kitchen is presented to customer efficiently and that the dish is as specified on the menu.
- Ask the customer if they require any sauces or anything that isn’t at their table already that they would like.
- Checking with the customer if their meal is to their requirements, if they would like any further drinks; up-sell a dessert once finished etc.
- To ensure room service trays are taken to bedrooms, requirements of the customer are met and that the trays are collected and not left in the corridors overnight.(Please pass onto Barman if not able to complete)
- To assist Barman with duties at bar - taking bar orders, taking orders to the kitchen, restocking bar, clearing tables, cleaning tables etc.
- Liaising with reception what drinks and meals have been served to guests to update their bill.
- Informing the duty manager of how many bar and restaurant meals have been served

Hourly rate from £8.50 per hour, depending on NLW
