Direct Payment Worker

**The job itself**:
We are looking for a Direct Payment Worker to work with a 6-year-old child in Willerby.

Hours: 6 in term time and 10 in school holidays.

Days: weekdays/weekends/flexible - to be arranged with parent.

Child loves to play outdoors in open spaces and spend time visiting parks. He especially enjoys trampolining.

Child has a diagnosis of autism and developmental delay. The role will involve supporting him to access activities in the home and out in the community, along with providing social, emotional and personal care needs.

The worker should have a sound knowledge of working with children with SEND and managing behaviour effectively. They should be approachable and confident in working with young people. The worker will also need to be flexible and understand that the day’s activities may be led by how the young person is feeling.

A full clean driving licence with use of a car would be preferable, to allow access to the community.
