BAM Construct & Ventures UK is recruiting is recruiting an HR Administrator to join the HR team in our Head Office, Hemel Hempstead on a 6 month fixed term contract. This role will involve a mixture of working from home and from our offices in Hemel Hempstead.

**Your mission**

Responsible for general HR administration, you will play an important role in our central HR Administration team.
Primarily you will focus on:

- Assisting with prepping staff offers /joining/leavers/ salary changes / promotion & reference letters.
- Assisting the team with administering the onboarding process and issuing offer and joiner packs to new starters.
- Assisting with processing new starters, leavers and transfers in the HR system (Success Factors).
- Assisting with completing administrative tasks associated with maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption leave.
- Managing the absence tasks on the HR system, processing unpaid leave requests and produce absence related letters.
- Processing company vehicle fine deductions and letters.
- Providing information to payroll in a timely manner.
- Checking new starters and leavers have been enrolled / lapsed / amended on the learning and private medical insurance portals, and have completed pre-placement medical questionnaire.
- Updating benefit providers (BUPA & Pension) with address changes.
- Support with the annual BUPA private medical health renewal and updating the BUPA database.
- Support with large administrative exercises and mail merge activity throughout the year.
- Cheque requisitions for travel & eyecare.
- Act as first point of contact for employees and managers on company policy and self-service queries.
- Ownership of Livelink filing and clearing any backlogs.
- Other general HR admin tasks.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Previous experience in an HR Administration role preferred but not essential.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail in your work.
- A willingness to take on additional responsibility when required and be looking to develop your career in a HR Administration environment.
