Warehouse Operative with previous experience of warehouse operations, who has knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and is able to work independently or part of a small team is required for pharmaceutical company based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, South East England.

**SALARY**: £24,500 per annum + Annual Bonus + Excellent Benefits (see below)

**LOCATION**: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

**JOB TYPE**: Full-Time, Permanent

**WORKING HOURS**: 40 hours per week 8am - 4.30pm

**KEY REQUIREMENT**: A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Warehouse Operative with previous experience of warehouse operations, who has knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and is able to work independently or part of a small team.

As the Warehouse Operative you will support the daily operations and provide backup to team members in all general warehouse duties. The position sits with the Logistics team, which is growing significantly in line with overall company expansion.

Working as the Warehouse Operative you will ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner, as well as changing gas cylinders, refilling liquid nitrogen containers.

DUTIES

**Your duties as a Warehouse Operative will include**:
Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner

Changing gas cylinders, refilling liquid nitrogen containers

Support of regular warehouse supplies, warehousing, picking and internal distribution, returning of goods

Ensure the warehouse ERP system is accurately maintained in terms of stock quantity, location, re-order optimal levels

Supply of solvent and servicing labs

Support company procedures for stock taking

Provide support on other duties when required

Physical Transfer of stock within Milton Park sites

Maintain Good Housekeeping in the stores area and assist with 5S within the department

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential

Driving License essential

Ideally have experience with Warehouse ERP Systems

Team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Previous warehouse operations experience, ideally in laboratories/ pharma

Flexible, enthusiastic and reliable

Proactive approach to work with the ability to problem solve issues

Positive attitude towards continuous improvement projects

Desirable

Counter balance, VNA, Reach License

IATA/ADR certification

Experience and knowledge of COSHH regulations
