Are you someone that takes pride in organising tasks, enjoying the starting as well as the finishing of a task, planning the best way of doing those tasks? Are you detail orientated, are you stoic when it comes to stressful situations, taking unplanned events in your stride and working through them to achieve positive results.
Do you love working with people, contacting them and liaising with them on a daily basis. Do you like helping and supporting people?
Can you be persuasive when needed but can you also read between the lines identifying potential problems that aren't particularly obvious, which may result in the performance of the Care Professional change.
Are you a team player and well as happy to work autonomously when needed?
**You may well be the person we are looking for.**
This role is about working at a desk 9am till 5pm as part of our amazing office team. You will use software to match Care Professionals to Client visits and ensure that all Client visits are covered well in advance so that Care Professionals are aware of their weekly schedules. You will be responsible for ensuring all Clients calls are allocated to cover holidays and sickness with Care Professionals that are suitable and qualified. You will consider HMRC rules of waiting time and travel time and deciding on the most suitable Care professional to visit taking into consideration mileage, national Insurance and contract agreements.
You will be required to take part in the On Call after hours support programme, providing help and support to Care Professionals should they need it outside of office hours. This will be in place once you have demonstrated that you are aware of the culture and standards of the business. This is likely to be one evening per week and one weekend in five. Additional renumeration is given for this.
You will be responsible for understanding Care Professionals change in circumstances and note how that effects the schedule, you will match suitable Care Professionals and inform other team members notably recruitment when new team members are required and in which area
**Qualifications**
Full training will be provided not only for the software given but a greater understanding of the business the Care Coordinator will be working within.
confidence using and communicating on the telephone
A background of working within the Care Sector or personal experience of family / loved ones home care needs is an advantage
