About Us:
We are Healthy Hyde, who work with the 8 GP practices in Hyde. We are a Primary Care Network (PCN) supporting 72,000 patients in Tameside. We have a team of wellbeing practitioners, nurses, paramedics, mental health nurses, first contact physio’s and care co-ordinators who work with your community in multiple ways.

Our priority is to support our practices in any way we can, to ensure the best possible healthcare & access to local services. We endeavour to make the best use of our resources to ensure that every one of our patients gets the help and support that they need and deserve. We're currently seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Receptionist & Administrative Assistant.

What You'll Do:
Receptionist Duties:

- Serve as the friendly and professional face of Healthy Hyde, greeting patients and visitors warmly and efficiently.
- Operate the front desk, answering phones effectively and directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Schedule appointments and manage the patient calendar, ensuring accuracy and clear communication with patients and staff.
- Assist patients with inquiries, providing clear and concise information and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Manage patient flow, welcoming patients, confirming appointments, and directing them to their designated areas.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and a professional atmosphere.

Administrative Duties:

- Perform medical coding duties accurately and efficiently according to established guidelines.
- Summarise patient notes in a clear and concise manner, adhering to proper medical terminology and protocols.
- Conduct daily equipment checks, ensuring functionality and reporting any issues promptly.
- Handle light clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to staff as needed, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
