**Responsibilities**
- 1. Coordinate the operational delivery of all aspects of MRCPCH clinical examination activity, engaging clinicians to deliver examinations to the required standard, schedule and budget.
- 2. Support the recruitment, training and performance review of MRCPCH examiners.
- 3. Undertaking routine forward planning to secure hosts for exams and handle all host related exam preparation and delivery.
- 4. Undertake regular reviews to ensure effective use of resources to meet workload demands.
- 5. Manage scheduling, payments and problem resolution with DHL for exam host box delivery and collection.- 7. Ensure relevant guidance, including website content and clinical stakeholder resources are kept up to date.
- 8. To maintain effective relationship management with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of clinical examinations to agreed timescales, budgets and quality, including working closely with the role player provider.
- 9. To work closely with the scenario administrator to ensure scenario provision for exams is supported and that feedback on scenarios from exams is captured.
- 10. Provide committee administration support and work with the UK Clinical Examinations Manager to ensure committees adhere to RCPCH Governance arrangements. This will include monitoring budgets and developing schedules for committees.- 12. Manage data collection and data integrity across clinical examination related activities. Ensure that legal and regulatory obligations (GDPR) are met when reporting, analysing and sharing data.
- 13. Occasionally be required to travel both inside and outside of London, with overnight stays needed as appropriate in addition, it may sometimes be necessary to work outside of the core College hours of 9am to 5pm. Some weekend support may be required from time to time.**Essential skills**

- Educated to ‘A’ Level standard or relevant experience in a similar line of work
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written including excellent report writing skills and the ability to present information in a fluent and persuasive manner to people at a range of levels
- Awareness of the principles of effective project management, risk mitigation, risk management and governance
- Able to present information, verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner, with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills, with a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters, and be able to deliver difficult messages with diplomacy and tact
- Able to find pragmatic solutions, seek improvements, and adapt to changing situations
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, manage own workload and taking responsibility for achieving results
- Ability to deliver multiple objectives within short time frames to high standards and to meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to act to minimise errors and inaccuracies, maintaining high standards of accuracy and correctness in dealing with information and data. Adopting an orderly and precise approach to work paying careful attention to following standard procedures and ways of working

- A good knowledge of topics relating to assessments and exams

**Educational requirements**
