Traffic Planner Weekend

Humber Ports Logistics Ltd is one of the logistics companies in the Humber, with depots in Immingham & Hull.
We are a modern and forward-thinking company but still pride ourselves on traditional company values.
Due to increased business, we are looking for an experienced Weekend Traffic Planner to join our traffic team at our Immingham Head Office.
As part of our busy Traffic team, you will be involved in planning of our busy fleet as well as ensuring that the company meets our customers’ needs and requirements.
What will you be responsible for?
- Make regular use of in-house planning tools and systems to manage workload and monitor for delays etc.
- Effective management and planning of drivers, through on-going communication using our tracking and transport software.
- Controlling and planning an agreed amount of resource (vehicles, drivers, trailers); ensuring all legal requirements are adhered to (Working Time Directive and EU drivers’ hours regulations)
- To ensure the daily plan is completed in real time managing resources effectively, maximising utilisation whilst minimising cost
- Understanding and achieving key performance targets relating to the safety and efficiency of the fleet (including utilisation and costing)
- Communicate with multiple departments including customer service, maintenance and drivers to ensure customer KPI’s and targets are achieved and maintained.
- Carry out driver debrief, including reporting of any issues with paperwork, drivers’ hours, etc

On call coverage
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
