**We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Specialist to join our team at Minster Canterbury (CT2 7JJ)**

This role is working with **Minster Canterbury** part of the STARK Group. We are a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe. We connect suppliers of heavy building materials with the professional craftsmen who build, renovate, and maintain the cities of tomorrow.

A great Internal Sales Specialist at Minster's will put the customer first, focusing on finding solutions for them and building trust. - Some knowledge or experience of working with building materials and products would be preferred
- Experience of working in sales - lead generation, new business and lapsed customers
- Passion for building long term customer relationships

**Hours of work**:Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5:00pm

**What will I be doing in the role?**

Our Sales Executives are an important contributor to the performance of the business and to ensure our customers have a positive experience with us. As this role has a strong focus on sales, we are looking for someone who loves building relationships with Customers and proactively generate sales both face to face and over the phone. To support our customers effectively you will;
- Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions
- Increase our sales portfolio within the local areas to achieve Branch targets
- Proactively develop great relationships with new and existing Customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs to provide advice and solutions
- Meet our customers face to face to develop customer relationships
- Build awareness of local market competition; keeping us at the forefront of our industry
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
