**Scale D 5-6 (£23,500- £23,893 per annum pro rata)**

Broad Horizons Education Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team in Reception at St. Clements Hill Primary Academy.

The school, which sits at the heart of a growing community, opened in September 2018 and is situated on the edge of Norwich’s northern ring road. We initially opened with a Reception Class and will reach capacity in 2024.

As part of the Broad Horizons Education Trust you will be included in a family of Academies who put the needs of children at the forefront of their education.
- Have experience working with children in EYFS or a play-based KS1 setting
- Have good numeracy and literacy skills
- Can form positive relationships with children, families and staff
- Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children
- Able to use their initiative to support learning & behaviour
- Are able to support the children both within the class and during recreational times
- Be adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team
- Who are willing to be flexible and work across the primary range if required
- Understand the dynamics of being a growing school and the need for flexibility
- Are willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary

Working as a Teaching Assistant is a great opportunity of gaining experience and is becoming a preferred method for prospective teachers to successfully secure places in either Teaching Schools or on a PGCE course.
