Belron UK Ltd. Role Profile - Talent Acquisition Specialist
Reports To: Head of Leadership Partnering

Role Purpose:
To lead the development and delivery of a recruitment strategy, to enable a professional, high-quality, cost-effective recruitment service for the Business to meet its capacity plans, working closely with the Senior Partnering Team.
The role holder will report directly to the Head of Leadership Partnering and will be responsible for developing best in class recruitment, selection and pre-boarding solutions that will support the business to hire great talent in a cost-effective way, enabling the delivery of key business plans that reflect current and future needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the Senior Partnering Team to lead and shape the recruitment strategy, sharing recruitment expertise to support the business to meet its capacity plans
- Attend the Monthly capacity planning meeting, sharing progress against capacity plans, giving confidence to the business and ensuring the Business Partnering Team are briefed post the meeting
- Develop and implement an employer brand strategy using social media and other channels to market, working in collaboration with the Marketing Team
- Develop recruitment and selection processes, utilising Workday, that support the delivery of all recruiting needs for the business, including medium and large-scale recruitment and assessment events.
- Regular scanning of the external labour market to inform / adapt our plans accordingly
- In collaboration with other Departments e.g. Workforce Management and Partnering Teams, create frameworks that will support robust sourcing, recruitment and retention plans that support the immediate operational plan and longer-term objectives.
- Create an annual recruitment calendar of events to support a proactive approach to advertising, recruitment and selection, pre-boarding, aligning with on-boarding and training and induction frameworks and plans.
- Manage the Company’s recruitment advertising budget to maximum effect, utilising paid job advertising, direct sourcing methods and social media to maximise our routes to market
- Manage the roll out of recruitment campaigns and projects, locally, regionally and Company-wide.
- Working closely with People Services Manager, to manage the Talent Acquisition Administrator resource effectively and focused on the right areas at the right time
- Support with recruitment tasks such as screening in times of high demand
- Pro-actively develop recruitment pipelines and talent pools for high volume roles so there is a ready supply ahead of demand, enabling the business to flex its recruitment plans when needed
- Recognise and monitor external market place trends and adjust the overall strategy to hire the right talent at the right time
- Develop best practice strategies that support attracting quality hires in skills shortage/hard to recruit areas. This includes utilising innovative and creative methods including the use of technology to maximise attraction of quality people to the business.
- Working with the wider people team and other stakeholders, support our employer value proposition and the ambition of ‘creating the best place to work’ in as many potential marketplaces as possible.
- Work with leaders and People Team colleagues to coordinate the development of assessment materials that promote values based recruitment and selection techniques, which conform to best practice and equality and diversity, ensuring that our people are equipped to with skills to recruit in line with our values.
