**Position**: Youth Worker

**Type**: Full-time 8.5 hours per day. £11.85ph. A driver is desirable. Temp to Perm (60 working days).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build meaningful relationships with young people, fostering trust and open communication.
- Plan, organise, and lead engaging workshops, group activities, and events that promote personal growth, teamwork, and skill development.
- Provide one-on-one mentorship and support to young individuals facing challenges or seeking guidance.
- Collaborate with community partners, schools, and local organizations to expand the reach and impact of our youth programs.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment that respects diversity and encourages young people to express themselves.
- Offer guidance on personal and academic goals, career pathways, and healthy life choices.
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and program evaluations.

**Qualifications**:

- A genuine passion for working with young people and a deep commitment to their well-being.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse youth backgrounds.
- Relevant experience in youth work, education, coaching, life experience, social work or a related field.
- Empathy, patience and a non-judgmental attitude in dealing with sensitive issues.
- Organisational skills to plan and manage activities effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment. _
- Provide an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one (which Pink Tile can assist with). _
