In this role you will be responsible for the management of our existing fleet of 900+ cars throughout their life by providing cost effective solutions to repairs whilst maintaining exceptional levels of customer service to our customers. You will work within our Operations team, you will support our customers and will dovetail with every department within our small business, your main duties will be:
- Arranging vehicle maintenance - service, MOT and tyre replacements
- To authorise mechanical repairs and routine maintenance and tyres for private use and fleet vehicles, in accordance with the manufacturer's service requirements and our budgetary controls.
- Make sound technical decisions by analysing the causes of mechanical failures, evaluating solutions and ensuring that sound financial decisions are negotiated and implemented on a day-to-day basis using agreed authority levels.
- Have the ability to diagnose technical reports and translate the findings to an end user with a clear non-technical approach.
- Acting as a key point of contact for colleagues across our business to ensure that customer queries are dealt with in an efficient, timely and professional manner creating win-win situations in all instances.
- The ability to communicate in all mediums effectively to maximise customer satisfaction levels, reduce vehicle downtime incidents, and identifying common themes to control expenditure.
- To ensure that department KPI's in the area of cost control, partner authorisation systems, telephone response times and budgetary requirements are adhered to at all times.
- Carry out a root cause analysis of vehicle component failures and required repairs and progress warranty claims.
- Manage end of contract vehicle damage and repairs.
- Carrying out driver licence checks
- Reporting on key issues for customers and the senior management team

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven mechanical skills and experience (City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Technical apprenticeship up to level 3 or equivalent.)
- Previous Maintenance Control or Service Reception or Workshop Control or Fleet Management experience.
- A confident and articulate, customer focused telephone and ecommerce manner.
- Excellent PC skills
- Able to demonstrate the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and suppliers with a methodical and disciplined approach to working.
- Proven Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads and be highly organised.
- Must have a minimum of 5 GCSE's A-C or 9-4 including Maths and English, be positive, hardworking, friendly and open.

**Please note we are in a remote location with poor public transport links. As this role will include occasional collection and delivery of vehicles you must be comfortable on the road and have a valid full driving licence with no points.**
