**Our team**: Virtual Learning - Pearson Online Learning Services Australia (POLS) partners with leading Australian Universities and assists them to acquire and retain students for online programs.The Digital Marketing team within POLS is responsible for developing, planning, and executing cross channel student centric acquisition and retention strategies for our university partners.

**The role**: The Digital Copywriter role will support the Marketing Team by writing copy that drives performance across a range of our digital marketing efforts. By delving into Google Analytics, Hotjar and other digital insight platforms, you will be able to identify and prioritise opportunities for content optimisations. You will also play a key role in the execution of your recommendations by writing compelling copy for our website and ads that will maximise student acquisition.

**What you will do**:

- Draw insights from digital insights tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Google Adwords, Marketing Cloud and Sales Force. Increased conversion rates
- Write direct response (DR) copy for our website and ads that increases engagement.
- Provide regular digital performance reports that outline actionable optimisations for our websites, media activity, comms and content.
- Develop and implement ongoing Test & Learn framework using Google Optimise.
- Contribute to the administration of our websites using the Content Management System.
- Optimise website performance by identifying opportunities to improve user experience
- With a strong understanding of digital performance and digital media landscape, you will be proactive and driven to find the numbers behind the growth of our business and eager to produce content-based solutions that will improve it even further.

**To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have**:

- 2+ years on a similar role, media agency or organisation
- Experience with Google Analytics, GA360 and Excel Proficiency
- Demonstrated experience using and managing/administrating Content Management Systems (Drupal preferable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
