**Salary**:£22,360 to £22,776 Annum (Salary based on a 40-hour contract. A higher range is offered to applicants with qualifications in health and social care)

**Overview of the role**
**Key duties**
- Providing personal care - including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding
- Medication administration
- Assisting and getting involved in residents' daily activities, hobbies or outings
- Following care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures
- Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
- Maintaining written daily records
- Attending and completing training, as required

Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator are key characteristics of a successful Night Social Care Worker.

**Where will you work?**
Stroud Lodge is a large, extended, Victorian detached property, two miles from Gloucester City centre. The home supports nine men and women of varying ages with learning difficulties, autism and associated complex needs, including those with behaviour that challenges. The home has a modern fully-equipped kitchen where all food is prepared by the staff and residents. The daily menu is agreed and planned in advance, and people can choose alternative meals if they wish. Stroud Lodge is ideally located to take advantage of everything Gloucester has to offer, including Gloucester Leisure Centre, Gloucester Docks and shopping in the busy town centre. As well as an in house activity programme, everyone is encouraged to participate in a variety of community activities, including attending college courses, horse riding, cinema or theatre trips and eating out.
